Pavel Samuta

Belarusian mechanical engineer, engineering entrepreneur and Independent Technical Partner with professional practice since 2007. I work at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing and the economics of technical decisions.

Professional path

I was born on July 12, 1987 in the Brest Region of Belarus. My technical education covers CNC machine tools, robotic systems, mechanical engineering technology and automated manufacturing.

I started my engineering career at the Beloozersk Energy Mechanical Plant within the Belenergo system. My early work involved industrial and power-generation equipment, including participation in the Zhodino CHP modernization project with a 60 t/h steam boiler.

I later spent more than eight years as a mechanical design engineer in Minsk, working with industrial equipment, mechanical assemblies, sheet-metal structures, production drawings, localization and reverse engineering. In 2018, as part of the Sinetekhno team, I contributed mechanical components for robotic camera and operator equipment used at Minsk Arena during Junior Eurovision 2018.

Since 2023 I have developed an independent engineering practice covering the full path from problem analysis, specifications and reverse engineering to design documentation, production selection, technical verification and implementation support.

How I work as an Independent Technical Partner

I evaluate technical decisions on three levels: physics — whether the solution will work; economics — what it means for lifecycle cost, downtime, CAPEX and TCO; and execution — who can manufacture, verify and repeat the result.

I do not replace the customer's engineering department. I become useful when an owner, technical director or chief engineer needs an independent engineering position before an expensive or difficult-to-reverse decision.

Public work

I publish and speak about mechanical engineering, industrial production, reverse engineering, localization, engineering economics and technology independence. Interviews and comments have appeared in Onlíner, RUБЕЖ, Komsomolskaya Pravda, RZD-Partner, Risk Management Practice and COOP MEDIA.
